W. CAMPBELL HUDSON, III graduated from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana, receiving a B.A. in 1973 and a J.D. in 1976. He was admitted to practice in the State of Connecticut in 1976 and the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut in 1978.
Campbell currently is a member of the Board of Finance of the Town of Essex. He served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Connecticut Fund for the Environment, and its program Save the Sound, from 1994 until 2018, during which time he also served as its President for 5 years. He also has previously served as Chairman of the Essex Board of Education, Chairman of the Connecticut River Estuary Regional Planning Agency, a member of Long Island Sound Study Citizens Advisory Committee, Vice Chairman of the Connecticut River Watershed Council, Vice Chairman of the Middlesex County Community Foundation, President of the Essex Historical Society, and Town Counsel for the Town of Clinton.
Campbell’s practice concentrates in the areas of estate planning, estate and trust administration, residential and commercial real estate matters, land use matters, municipal law, business and commercial transactions, and charitable organizations.
